From this research there is one main trend that is evident, This trend is that the 5th stage of Todorov's theory is not shown and there seems to also be a reason for this, The reason is that if it were to show all the stages then too much would be revealed to the audience in the trailer which means that they don't really need to nor have the desire to go and watch the film in the cinema as they have just been told what happens in a mere fraction of the time.
We feel that whilst we need to not tell the audience everything so that they are intrigued to watch the film, we will still have to show quite a lot due to the narrative of our film which could easily cause confusion if not portrayed correctly in the trailer.
